SODICA attaches great importance to the protection of privacy and personal data. That is why we present our approach to your personal data in more detail in this Privacy Policy, to explain the cases in which we collect it, the reasons for collecting it and what we do with it.

The collection and processing that we perform is carried out in accordance with the legal framework applicable to the protection of personal data and in particular, the General Data Protection Regulation EU 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘GDPR’) and the French Data Processing and Freedoms law of January 6, 1978.

What personal information does SODICA collect?

Does SODICA transfer personal information abroad?

How does SODICA use cookies or other tracking technologies?

How long will SODICA keep your personal information?

For the purposes of processing related mainly to the creation of your customer account, and the history of the transactions you complete on the website, your personal data is kept for as long as you are an ‘active’ customer and for a period of time which may vary according to the legal requirements in force. If this information is not subject to contractual or legal obligations, SODICA will retain it for as long as is necessary to accomplish the original objective for which it was collected. In all cases, your personal data is kept for a maximum period of ten (10) years in accordance with our legal obligations, for accounting and tax purposes.

What rights do you have over your personal information?

Natural persons may at any time have access to, review, update, correct, modify or delete the information communicated to SODICA.

• the right to access (Article 15 GDPR) and correct your personal data (Article 16 GDPR).
• the right to delete the personal data of natural persons (Article 17 of the GDPR), when they it is inaccurate, incomplete, ambiguous or outdated,
• the right to withdraw consent at any time (Article 13-2c GDPR)
• the right to limit the processing of data (Article 18 GDPR)
• the right to oppose data processing (Article 21 GDPR)
• the right to portability of the data that natural persons have provided, when such data is subject to automated processing based on their consent or a contract (Article 20 GDPR).
• the right to bring an appeal to the national data protection authority, and in France, the French Data Protection Authority - CNIL (https://www.cnil.fr/fr/plaintes).

In order to be able to exercise your rights, including changing, deleting or having access to your personal information, to report problems encountered on the website or to ask any questions, please contact us by email at info@sodica.fr.

SODICA will make reasonable efforts to update the information in a timely manner and, where required by law, will remove your personal information from its files. In order to protect user confidentiality and security, SODICA will take steps to verify the identity of the user before making any requested changes.

SODICA will reply to you within one (1) month of the date of receipt of your request. In some cases, due to the complexity of the request or the number of requests, this period may be extended by two (2) months.

Could this Privacy Policy change?

SODICA reserves the right to change its Policy at any time without notice, in particular in order to develop its services or to comply with any new applicable regulation. The applicable policy is the one in effect at the time of the creation of any account or on the date of login access to the website.
